Can I hire an operator and the EWP together?

We supply the operator; the EWP itself is usually principal-supplied or coordinated through your plant hire. Happy to recommend plant hire partners if useful.

Do your operators work from man baskets on cranes?

Man-basket work from a crane is a specialised rigging operation. For that scope, we deploy an advanced rigger alongside the EWP or crane crew — not as a standalone EWP job.

Night shift and weekend EWP work?

Regularly supplied — fit-out and façade programs in the Sydney CBD often run evenings and weekends. Rates reflect the applicable shift loadings.

Anything at height — ceilings, façades, services, fit-out, structural bolt-up — usually needs an elevated work platform. ProChoice supplies operators licensed across scissor lifts, knuckle booms and straight boom lifts, trained for working at heights and ready to integrate with your trade sequence.

For boom-type platforms with boom length above 11 metres, operators carry the SafeWork NSW high-risk work licence (WP class). For smaller EWPs — scissor lifts and smaller booms — operators hold the Elevating Work Platform Association (EWPA) Yellow Card. Either way, the operator we send is licensed for the machine on your site.
