§ 01 — Overview
What a ProChoice welder brings to site.
Welders are not interchangeable. A structural welder running sequence bolt-up is a different animal to a pressure-vessel fabrication hand. ProChoice supplies trade-qualified welders matched to the work — structural, fabrication, site, miscellaneous steel.
Every welder we deploy holds a Certificate III trade qualification (or equivalent experience) and is competent across the common processes — MIG, TIG and stick. Where the job requires coded welding or weld-procedure qualification (WPS) sign-off, we match to ticketed welders with current test evidence.
Confined space, working at heights, site welding in awkward positions — our bench has done it across commercial, industrial and civil. PPE, welding screens, grinding discs — personal tools they bring; consumables and gas are site supplied.

Do your welders bring their own gear?
Our welders bring PPE (welding helmet, leathers, gloves, eye protection) and personal tools (grinders, squares, chippers). Welding machines, consumables and gas are typically site-supplied through the principal or fabrication sub. - 02+
Can you supply welders with current coded tickets?
Yes — where the job requires a Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) qualified welder with current test evidence, we match to welders who hold the relevant tickets. Tell us the WPS/code on dispatch. - 03+
What processes do your welders cover?
MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW) and stick (MMA/SMAW) are standard across the bench. Flux-cored (FCAW) is available for specific jobs. - 04+
Site welding at height or in confined space?
Regularly — provided the welder has the appropriate Working at Heights and/or Confined Space tickets. We match tickets to the site conditions on dispatch.
